Director, Digital Marketing

Location: South Bend, IN or Kalamazoo, MI or Traverse City, MI or Bellefontaine OH, or Remote
Type: Full Time

Position Overview

You will be responsible for directing digital marketing strategy and executing it to market our technology, products and services to a business audience. This includes creating digital campaigns including paid advertising, email and social media to engage prospects using a content marketing strategy. You will create and execute digital strategies for lead generation and expanding brand recognition, and oversee performance and optimization of web analytics, ad analytics, social media performance and email campaign performance. In this role, you will manage digital marketing team members and third party vendors. You will create national, regional, local and industry specific campaigns. You will work with multiple internal stakeholders to create digital campaigns regarding events, webinars, company culture, products, services, product launches, thought leadership and more. You will be responsible for keeping the marketing team CRM and its dashboards and reports accurate, and reporting digital campaign performance to executives. You will report to the CMO.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and execute digital campaigns about Aunalytics’ products and services using content such as customer case studies, use cases, white papers, articles, videos, presentations and other content aimed for target prospective customer audiences and current clients
  • Drive leads to the company website and generate qualified leads with digital campaigns
  • Oversee and optimize paid digital advertising campaigns
  • Optimize website analytics, SEO and form fills
  • Create and execute social media campaign strategy
  • Create and execute email campaign strategy
  • Write copy and design templates for email drip campaigns and social media campaigns
  • Supervise digital marketers in executing strategies
  • Create campaigns to communicate reasons why clients need and want our company offerings, our unique selling propositions, salient features of our data platform and services.
  • Create engaging content matching the brand, tone and voice of Aunalytics.
  • Manage campaign calendar
  • Work closely with CMO and Director, Design on product and company marketing strategies, and setting and achieving business unit goals.
  • Attend weekly marketing team meetings to coordinate projects and campaigns.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8-10 years of B2B marketing experience, including digital marketing
  • Demonstrated campaign creation, administration, orchestration and optimization skills on digital platforms including website, email, social media
  • Demonstrated outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to create campaign strategies and adapt for different target audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to manage team members and third party vendors
  • Ability to administrate a company CRM
  • Well versed in SEO principles and techniques, digital advertising (banner, display, etc.) principles and techniques
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to take initiative and problem solve
  • Ability to prioritize conflicting tasks while staying flexible and responsive
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly, adapt easily to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal communication skill set
  • Meets deadlines with high quality work product

    • Hubspot

    • Zoom meeting and webinar platforms

  • Basic understanding of data privacy, copyright and trademark dos and don’ts

Preferred Skills

  • Digital marketing experience for a technology company, data platform, SaaS or cloud company
  • Experience marketing technologies such as: cybersecurity, data privacy and security compliance, managed IT services, data integration, master data management, data cleansing, data quality, data profiling, machine learning, AI, data analytics, analytical dashboards, digital transformation, business intelligence
  • Experience writing persuasive content for business executives
  • Ability to distill technical features, bells and whistles down to how they solve business problems and create engaging campaigns to grab business users
  • Enjoys learning new things
  • Experience using Jira
  • Over achiever, highly productive with emphasis on completing projects on time with outstanding work product
