Chief People Officer

Position Overview

As our Chief People Officer, you will be responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of our overall business plan and strategic goals. As we grow, you will build scalable, people-oriented policies and processes that support growth, but maintain and strengthen the culture we have worked so hard to build. Said another way, you will spend each day striving to ensure that all of our team members are well taken care of and love being a part of the Aunalytics team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Proactively collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement people strategies which support business success and foster team member engagement


  • Partner with all levels of the organization to evolve, nurture, and cultivate the Aunalytics culture as we grow and expand; harness the existing culture and values while building out internal people-related policies and constantly look for new ways to reinforce and improve upon our culture
  • Foster a diverse workplace environment and culture of inclusivity which enables all team members to be exceptional and maximize their contributions; lead the development and implementation of proactive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives designed to ensure that team members from all backgrounds feel welcome and valued.


  • Ensure ongoing assessment, enhancement, and alignment of all HR processes, policies, and practices
  • Identify areas of strategic and tactical improvements in HR processes and technologies, lead implementation of improvements with the team, and enable cross-department collaboration
  • Actively manage new company integrations


  • Advise the executive team on relevant compliance and employment law and introduce best practices to protect the organization


  • Working collaboratively with the finance team, provide strategy and oversight of the administration of our compensation, benefits, 401K, and long-term incentive plan:
    • Oversee payroll administration
    • Research and compare benefits and compensation strategies, policies, plans, best practices, and trends
    • Solicit team member input to inform our compensation and benefits strategy and plan; considering the needs and well-being of our team in all decisions
    • Recommend and implement a compensation and benefits strategy and plan that is cost-effective, competitive, and well-received by our team
    • Ensure that our compensation and benefits strategy and plan allow us to recruit top talent and establishes us as an employer of choice in the region
  • Collaborate with the finance team to anticipate and forecast people-related investments and expenses; monitor and analyze trends and variances on an ongoing basis; and develop corrective actions as needed

Learning and Development

  • Lead our company-wide performance review program, including policies, processes, and tools
  • Oversee the development of policies, guidelines, and tools to support managers for year-round performance management conversations
  • Coach, mentor, and develop HR team to ensure ongoing high performance
  • Be a role model for leadership and management excellence
  • Develop and implement effective team member onboarding and training programs


    • Work closely with key recruiting partners to ensure we attract and retain top talent

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Minimum seven years broad-based human resources experience with at least three years in a leadership position (experience in the tech industry, at a high-growth company, working with offshore teams, or at a publicly traded company a plus)
  • Strong background and expertise as an HR generalist with in-depth knowledge of all HR functions, plus expertise in at least one relevant HR specialty (compensation, benefits, learning and development, acquisitions, etc.)
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbal and written, across all levels of the organization (board room to front line)
  • Demonstrated ability to comfortably and professionally build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, you should be as comfortable in the board room as you are with our interns
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion with a working knowledge of key DEI topics and best practices; ability to serve as an advocate for individuals of all ethnicities, genders, ages, abilities, and backgrounds
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
